Dorette & Paul’s wedding took place at Mermaid Beach Villa followed by a pool party and a beautiful wedding dinner on Haad Chao Pao beach.

Phangan Weddings planed our wedding in Koh Phangan. We had a ceremony at a private villa, a pool party at the villa, a meal at a beach side restaurant and then a party at the pirate bar. We had 40 adults who attended and 2 babies under the age of 2 years old.
I met Nadine a year before the wedding to give her a very detailed brief of what was required. Since that initial meeting we have changed our mind and the plan a number of times. Nadine was very professional and accommodating about this. She stayed in touch constantly with any updates and information. This is so valuable when you are planning a wedding in another country.
The wedding day was amazing!! Everything was beautiful and went as planned. The guests had an amazing time. The ceremony was beautifully set up in the exact colours requested. The reverend performed a short, simple ceremony – exactly what we asked for. The photographer was brilliant and very easy to get along with.
The day was spent by the pool. We had massage ladies and two waitresses who looked after everyone’s needs. We had a bartender, Don who was brilliant! An excellent bar tender and a very interesting man. Whilst the party was going on, Nadine was setting up at the restaurant. She left Caroline in charge at the party. She was amazing and ensured everyone was looked after and having fun.
Taxis took the guests to the Dolce Vita, the wedding restaurant. The setting was incredible and the table decorations were fantastic. It was exactly how we had described. The team had followed all our instructions perfectly.
The meal was fantastic and they catered well for 40 guests. We arranged for a fire juggler and the restaurant booked a surprise thai dancer as entertainment.
After the meal we all went to the Pirate Bar for a party. There we had a band and then a DJ.
Our wedding brief was complicated as there was a change of location 3 times and we had many guests. Nothing was too much for Nadine and her team, They did everything they could to make the planning and the day itself stress free. We could never have done any of it without the help of the team.
The day was more amazing that we could have ever imagined! I would recommend Nadine and her team to anyone contemplating a wedding on this most beautiful island!
